Before founding 3 Dots Design in 2009, Holly built her expertise in the specialty bicycle and running industries, beginning on the retail floor at Playmakers in Okemos, MI while in college. Her passion for retail took her to Boulder, CO, where she spent years at Pearl Izumi, overseeing the launch of their first retail concept shop program. She later served as the Director of Retail Services for Giant Bicycle, the world’s largest bicycle manufacturer, where she developed their global fixture program and creative retail guidelines. During her time at Giant, she led the design and buildout of 18 Giant-branded stores worldwide, earning recognition for “Best New Retail Concept” for her flagship store design.

In 2009, Holly founded 3 Dots Design, bringing her deep retail expertise to brands like Fleet Feet, Moving Comfort, Hind Sportswear, and Electra Bicycle, as well as independent bike, run, and outdoor retailers. Under her leadership, 3 Dots Design has played a key role in shaping retail experiences across the industry. The firm has designed multiple Fleet Feet flagship stores and has been a trusted retail design partner for Specialized Bicycle since 2020. However, their greatest accomplishment lies in transforming the store environments of hundreds of specialty retailers worldwide, helping them elevate their merchandising strategies. Backed by a team with over 60 years of combined retail expertise, 3 Dots Design is dedicated to creating compelling, customer-centric retail spaces.

In addition to running 3 Dots Design, Holly is a sought-after speaker on merchandising and retail design. She has delivered keynote presentations at industry events, led design seminars, and trained retail teams on best-in-class visual merchandising techniques.
