Media Registration

Qualified media professionals are invited to Switchback

Switchback Spring welcomes media staff and freelancers working on assignment from industry, news, and consumer-focused media outlets related to the outdoor industry.

The complimentary press badge provides access to Switchback in full, including conference sessions, the trade show floor, Opening Night Party, and all networking events and activities.

How Does It Work?

Interested press can visit the 2025 Press Portal to submit their professional contact information as well as links to recent work and social media handles.
A member of the Switchback team will review the application within seven (7) business days.
The application will be approved or rejected depending on the qualification materials submitted.
Applicants will receive an email notification of their application status once reviewed.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must be focused on outdoor and outdoor lifestyle topics and be a qualified representative from one of the following:

Print media: Trade, news, or consumer
Digital media: Trade, news, or consumer
Content: Video, podcast, or social media channels with subscribers or following of 25k+**

Generally, media that qualify have the following titles:

Editor
Contributor/Reporter
Writer
Content creator/vlogger/podcaster/blogger

The following generally do not qualify:

Sales/Marketing personnel (sales managers, account executives, etc.)
Advertising/PR agency personnel
Photographers/ videographers not on assignment
Meme accounts and/or re-posters of other content.

** If follower count is less than required, but content is strong and focused on outdoor and outdoor lifestyle topics, we encourage application.
