My name is Duane Goulbourne, a Physical Education Teacher of Detroit Public School Community District, and I am a member of Black Men Run, serving as Vice-Captain and TURF Ambassador for the Detroit, Michigan chapter. I provide leadership during weekly runs, promote trail running, volunteer at local events, and encourage African American men to improve their health through running. I have been part of the organization for over three years, and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve made.
