Sof Camacho is a Mexican non-binary runner and coach with Nike Running NYC and Mile High Run Club. They are also a drag artist and tattoo artist, building the bridge between fitness and queer nightlife. They are the nonbinary winner and record-holder of the 2024 TCS NYC Marathon, and are a 2hr29 minute marathoner gearing up for a faster time at The Marathon Project in AZ. Sof is pursuing professional running goals in women’s fields while maintaining a trans nonbinary identity– hoping to pursue hormone replacement therapy after concluding their endeavors in professional women’s running. Sof’s story is featured in the print issue of Spring 2024 Runner’s World, where they talk about their mental health advocacy.
