Mike Foote is the owner and Race Director of The Rut Mountain Runs, which he helped launch in Big Sky, Montana, in 2013. A longtime professional mountain runner with The North Face, Mike has spent more than two decades immersed in the trail running community as an athlete, event organizer, and volunteer. His work with The Rut focuses on creating events that prioritize community, connection, and a strong sense of place alongside the racing itself.
