Justin Yoder is the Founder and Executive Director of LGBTQ Outdoors, a nonprofit dedicated to connecting the LGBTQIA+ community to the outdoors through inclusive spaces, events, and ambassador-led chapters across the U.S. and Canada. Since founding the organization in 2019, he has grown it into a thriving national community, leading programs such as LGBTQ Outdoorfest, the 100 Mile Club, and the LGBTQ Outdoors Podcast.
Driven by a deep belief that everyone deserves to feel safe, seen, and celebrated in nature, Justin is passionate about educating outdoor brands and organizations on inclusivity and meaningful community engagement. He regularly speaks on topics at the intersection of LGBTQ+ identity and the outdoors, helping businesses better understand how to create welcoming environments that foster connection and belonging.
Prior to LGBTQ Outdoors, Justin founded a nonprofit addressing HIV/AIDS in Africa, bringing a long-standing commitment to advocacy, equity, and global impact. His leadership blends compassion, strategy, and lived experience—continuing to expand visibility, break down barriers, and inspire more people to get outside.
