As the Director of Membership and Sponsorship at Running USA, Nancy focuses on connecting businesses within the running industry and exploring innovative ways to grow the membership base. Nancy’s journey into the running industry began unexpectedly years ago, when she applied to a Craigslist ad (yes, that was once a thing!). She spent nine years working at one of the largest U.S. ten-mile races, building her expertise in marketing, advertising, communications, public relations, customer relations, volunteer management, contingency planning, sponsorship, and marketing research. As the Marcom leader, Nancy drove the race to record-breaking registration sellouts and created the youth zone mascot.
